Following the document on creating a CMP bean, I coded an entity bean, wrote
up jaws.xml to map the fields to a table in my Oracle database, packaged the
classes & xmls into a jar and copied to the deploy directory.
However, I don't see JAWS activating the mapping (if thats the right term)
and upon running the client program, all finder methods failed.
The following line did not appear during startup or upon deployment of the
bean.
[JAWS] Initializing JAWS plugin for ....
FYI:
- The oracle datasource was setup properly and loaded properly at startup.
- No errors were reported when the bean was deployed.
Am I missing anything? Forgetting a config or ???
