oke that i knew but i don't understand what a .ear file is and what the
layout for that file is.
more importantly: where (if any) is the docu?

i'v tried sun's 1.3 and the ibm 1.3 that came with jbuilder4 which has jit
enabled.
BOTH produced SIGSEGV errors like the one above...
which JDK do you guys use?
