Marc et al,
I'd like to offer my support for the license move to
LGPL. I have long argued that GPL is not suitable for this
type of Java software. This is one reason why we created the
EPL license for the Open Source Enhydra application server
(www.enhydra.org) - so that various pieces of Open Source
software could be combined by virtue of a compatible
licenses. Finally we may be able to leverage each other's
libraries and contribute to each project in the true spirit
of Open Source...
