Of course, I had exaggerated to make the point. But to sacrifice 30% of the height to ads is sad indeed. Ads will do well with 10%.

I too have been "monitoring" the jboss site for the last six months or more, since the original site we released. It has come a long way. I think that Viktor is being a little to hard on the jboss site. Has anyone looked at apache<retorical/>? Talk about "an icon of ... Open Source movement". Apache is considered by most to be just such a site. The apache site is _very_ basic and "ugly" relative to a site such as Redhat. However, it is functional. IMHO, we should be more concerned with the functionality of  jboss(site) rather than it's look and feel.

Not everyone likes it, let's get the pictures right at least....

also I will repeat that I will come up with a "biz" look (this is the "dev" look and content) over the next few days.

Marc,

JBOSS is very important to me, almost an icon of Java Open Source movement.
I waas montoring the website for last 2 months at least.

Now, I have checked a new look and feel of jboss website today.

I have experienced literally a phisical pain when mowing my eyeballs while useing the site.

Seriously,
how can jboss logo occupy 30% of height of the page,
how can the architecture of jboss picture be sow low resolution.

Man, I am shocked. I really want to believe it will be fixed very soon.
