I'm sorry for bothering you guys by such small issue,
but I guess for "production" it does matter:
jboss.conf has a few xml-comments with "--" inside -
(commented out tomcat-stuff)
according to XML spec section 2.5 "Comments":
# For compatibility, the string "--" (double-hyphen) must not
# occur within comments.
also xerces complains:
org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The string "--" is not permitted within
comments.
