Hm.. not sure :-) I haven't actually done web apps that way, only by
packaging them into .war files...

When you create web apps it is preferred to package them into .war files.
One you have a .war it is very easy to install them on different servers.
The above apps are packaged this way so you can reuse the structure I have
by removing my JSP's and beans, put yours in, and rebuild. Presto, you now
have a nice little .war file you can deploy.
