We are still trying to work out what we need to do to support them?
The release that is coming out today(RC6) accepts the taglibs
tags in the XML and treats them as a resource alias. This should
allow Jasper to get the taglib as a resource by it's short name.
I have not verified if this is the correct or only action that
needs to be taken, but my initial code inspection of the reference
implementation does not show it doing anything else.
So the short answer is - IF we don't support it this week THEN
will support it next week :-)
