Folks at jBoss There were a number of postings recently about jBoss hanging under certain conditions. I want to add that I have had jBoss hang up on me a few times under the following conditions. - I start a transaction - Manipulate some tables in my Oracle resource - In the course of the transaction I access a row in the database which is locked my another user (in my case my SQL Plus session which has not committed various changes I have made ) - I notice that jBoss (the Transaction manager / container ) then waits for the transaction time out period to gain access to the locked table ( I have seen the jBoss timeout message on the console from time to time ) - If I wise up fast enough and commit my SQL Plus transactions I see (on the console) that jBoss then proceeds and commits the outstanding transaction. - jBoss the hangs up on me (I am testing on my Win 2000 machine ), the regular ^C does not even work. - I then have to kill jBoss and start again -- -------------------------------------------------------------- To subscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Problems?: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
