Hi there. I'm hoping someone can help me out with a few questions
that I'm unclear about:
I would like to use Jboss, and have clients that run under java
1.2.2. Is all that's necessary for this to run Jboss with java 1.3, and
configure the jboss.xml for each bean to have the line:
<configuration-name>jdk1.2.2 Stateful
SessionBean</configuration-name>
I had posted a question last week about beans not deploying
correctly, and I found out that our Jboss server is running on java
1.2.2, instead of 1.3. Would this cause problems, or is this a better
solution than configuring the session beans in the jboss.xml? If I need
to run JBoss under java 1.2.2, what do I need to change? Would running
Jboss under java 1.2.2, and having the line above cause problems as
well, or simply be redundant?
We're currently running Jboss v2, release 4.
Any information you guys have on this would be great!
