All,

I am almost done with the rewrite of EJX (our GUI for editing XML
files). The "only" big thing missing now is the JAWS plugin, but I think
that will be mostly copy/paste work.

You can download a EJX 1.1 preview from:
http://www.dreambean.com/download/EJX-1.1.zip

Try it out, and let me know what you think of it. IMHO it is vastly
better than the previous version; much easier to use, and much more
convenient now that one plugin handles several types of XML.

How to use:
Execute /bin/ejx.jar.
Select File/New or File/Open. If you do File/Open select a EJB-JAR XML
file. If there is a "jboss.xml" file next to it, that will be opened to.
No support for JAR files at this point.

You will now get a GUI with a bunch of tabs. Some tabs are for the EJB
stuff, and some are for JBoss. The "EnterpriseBeans" tab is for both,
and all beans listed will have info for both JBoss and plain EJB.

One major limitation right now is that if you have method permissions of
container transactions on a method level, they will not be
loaded/stored. The reason is that the editor does not have the classes
available so it can't figure out what methods are allowed in the UI.

Let me know if you find any bugs. This has been a massive change, and
although most of it was copy/paste there is likely a couple of typos and
similar in there. Some real bugs from the old EJX might still be there
too.

Have fun,
  Rickard
