Ah you fell into the same trap as i did..
META-INF/ejb-jar.xml
META-INF/application.xml
WEB-INF/web.xml
are all case sensitive!!
They have to be, because java is supposed to be platform independent.
and a *nix box can have WEB-INF and web-inf dirs in the same dir....
