If you open a web browser to port 8082 (the default port anyway), you will
see the HTTP RMX adaptor, from where you can remote deploy, stop the server,
view stats etc. JBoss ROCKS!

Subject: [jBoss-User] Stopping the jBoss Server?
First, I'm new to jBoss and loving it. My project was using Weblogic, but
we're moving toward jBoss. With no ejbc step, our build time is cut by
80%!
I see on the web <http://www.jboss.org/business/jboss-server.html> that
"Remote," "HTTP," and "RMI" administration are possible. Is there more
documentation on that? Particularly, I am interested in a command-line
mechanism for stopping the server.
Thanks in advance,
Xandy
