|Subject: [jBoss-User] Comparing Embedded Tomcat Performance with
|Standalone Tomcat
|
|
|Now that things have settled down a bit with the final release of Tomcat
|I decided to play around abit with the
|configuration of my Application. I went back to running the WebApp
|portion of the Application in a Standalone
|instance of Tomcat and found that there is really no difference in
|performance between the Embedded version
|and Standalone version (at least from my apps perspective) I didn't do
|any specific timings, just from using the app
|the respone time appeared the same. I also saw the same results when
|running on a different machine/os.
|
|Comments anyone.
