No, I did not.  The remote/home interfaces are deployed via
a separate .jar file located in the same directory as my
.war file (ie, in jboss-2.0-FINAL/deploy), but that evidently
is not good enough for the servlet.

Do you always have to put the remote/home interfaces in the
.war file for servlet/EJB integration?

Note that both the .jar file (with the remote/home interfaces)
and the .war file both are deployed fine.
