[jBoss-User] Transaction Problem

I got the following message on the JBoss console:

Export] Transaction XidImpl [ID=257, Global=cmtexwebdev/3006, Branch=] timed out. 
status=STATUS_ACTIVE

My program hang and so was JBoss. I could not even shut it down pressing CTRL+C.

I am wondering what happened.
