I found the same problem and posted the question on list. Unfortunately, no one pay
attention to it yet. I found that in past 2 days there are about 4-5 thread related to
this topic. But it's wierd that none of them are responsed. (May be the topic not
sound interesting enough. I am thinking to put the word 'BUG', 'CRITICAL', 'AAAGHH' in
the topic next time. ;=) ) My question is under topic "JAAS Authentication and
Authorization on Web Tier".
I guess since JBoss runs on the same VM as EmbedTomcat, JBoss trusts all calls from
EmbedTomcat. Have you try to test it from stand-alone Tomcat yet?
