For roles, you should read through the email archive at jboss.org
and search for 'security' or 'JAAS'. You may also want to do some
background reading on JAAS at:
http://java.sun.com/security/jaas/doc/api.html
As for the db driver, take a look at the jBoss configuration files -- Eg,
jboss.properties -- and check where various .jar files are set up in
the install-tree.
