I have seen several posts regarding running jBoss under IBM's Visual Age.
My installation is jBoss 2.0 on VA Pro 3.5 on Windows 2000. I'm running the
EJB examples in Monson-Haefel's "Enterprise JavaBeans" book. Works great
from
the command line but getting the server started under VA was a chore. Now
I'm at the following on starting the server from VA:

...
[Container factory] Started
[Auto deploy] Starting
[Auto deploy] Auto deploy of file:/C:/Program Files/IBM/VisualAge for
Java/ide/project_resources/deploy/Cabin.jar
[J2EE Deployer] Destroying application Cabin.jar
[J2EE Deployer] deployment.cfg file deleted.
[J2EE Deployer] File tree file:/c:/program files/ibm/visualage for
java/ide/project_resources/tmp/deploy/Cabin.jar deleted.
[J2EE Deployer] Deploy J2EE application: file:/C:/Program
Files/IBM/VisualAge for Java/ide/project_resources/deploy/Cabin.jar
[J2EE Deployer] Create application Cabin.jar
[J2EE Deployer] Installing EJB package: Cabin.jar
[J2EE Deployer] Starting module Cabin.jar
[Container factory] Deploying:file:/c:/program files/ibm/visualage for
java/ide/project_resources/tmp/deploy/Cabin.jar/ejb1002.jar
[SpyderMQ] Cannot start the JMS server ! null

exception is:
        java.rmi.UnmarshalException: error unmarshalling arguments; nested
exception is:
        java.io.IOException: Malformed URL valoader:/C:/Program Files/IBM/VisualAge

file:/C:/jboss_tomcat/jboss-2.0-FINAL/log/
file:/C:/jboss_tomcat/jboss-2.0-FINAL/tmp/
file:/C:/jboss_tomcat/jboss-2.0-FINAL/db/
... and much more.
As I have seen several people post that they have gotten jBoss to
work on VA, could somebody post some details? I also saw a post that
somebody imported the source code, even though VA is not J2SE 1.3 compliant.
I would really like to know that is done. Do spaces in the file names have
something to do with this?
