Thought I try again with this post as still have not
been able to figure this out and someone must be using
jetty with jboss???
I just installed jboss/jetty binaries, with the
default settings. Servlets, seem to work fine, but jsp
examples brings the following error:
JASPER: Classpath according to the init parameter is:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: sun/tools/javac/Main
I'm running jboss/jetty default install, JVM 1.3,
Win2000
I read a post about not having the tools.jar file in
the classpath, so I tried the following:
I modified the run.bat file to add the tools.jar to
classpath, and also when the prior did not work, I set
a system environ var (which the .bat file adds to the
classpath). This has not worked. Any ideas?
Is jasper getting classpath info somewhere else?
