Not sure if this helps or not - but I was having max cursors errors - but
the problem I had was that I had not marked the session bean as requiring a
transaction (in the ejb-jar.xml). Things were working - but it didn't seme
to release things - but adding the transaction required tag got rid of the
problem.
We are using Oracle too, without the Oracle XA stuff - but cos we are using
815 which doesnt support it...
