Hi knowledgeable folks,

Weblogic allows the deployer to define ACLs for resources such as connection
pools in either the weblogic.properties file or in a RDBMS via the
RDBMSRealm.

Does anyone know if JBoss 2.0 provides a similar security feature? I notice
that you can set up authentication and access controls for EJBs via
principals, credentials and method permissions, but haven't come across
anything that allows security configuration on other resources.

Also, I've been impressed by the plugin architecture of JBoss. The TODO list
on the jboss.org website is a dead link so I'm wondering if anyone can tell
me what projects are ongoing and need help, especially in the
plugin/architecture area. I'd love to lend a help. I've had about a year's
experience in Weblogic and about 4 in total with Java.

Thanks

Joe
