I've uploaded a zip file that has my changes to:
http://www.dmsoft.com/jboss/jboss-tomcat.zip  In the zip are 3 files:

jboss.jcml -- there is really only one line in here that is different -- the
line that creates the MBean for org.jboss.tomcat.TomcatService

run.sh -- a modified start script that puts in the TOMCAT_HOME -- change it
as you need to

tomcat-service.zip -- the modified source code.  Unzip to the source tree,
rebuild, and it should work.

If you find any problems or make any changes, let me know.
