Hi all jboss/oracle developers (and all the rest)
I have tested 8.1.7 jdbc against 8.1.7 server according to Ole Husgaard
recommendation.
And the results :
* XA works fine (at least for me...) now. I dont know what OTHER problems it
had earlier, so don't count on my word for it, but a weird exception I had
with 8.1.6 (with a BMP dealing with CLOB) has disapeared. so bye bye minerva
(untill I find Oracle next bug...)
* CMPing a CLOB still doesnt work, but I get to suspect that it has nothing
to do with the driver itself , but with JAWS (If someone had ever managed
making JAWS to handle CLOB/BLOB against another vendor's DB, I will love to
hear about it) So my entities conatining CLOBs BLOBs are still BMPs.
BTW, if you work with CLOB/BLOB on Oracle, you should use oci driver (and
not thin). Its Oracle recommendation.
