For the lack of any documentation I have to ask you people for help.
I was trying to get the latest CVS snapshot to run. I compiled it, figured
out how to run it (copied all the necessary libs where necessary and
created necessary directories). After stepping through the startup in
JBuilder4, I was able to clean up a few exceptions creeping in due to
incompatibilities between 2.0 config files and whatever is needed for this
latest snapshot. (E.g. security architecture must have changed, so I
figured out what to remove and what to change from jboss.conf to avoid
exceptions from MBean class loader)
Nonetheless, I am still unable to run it. One of the biggest culprits is
the XADataSource module. In the default config of JBoss2.0 it was loaded
twice, once as as InstantDB, and second time as DefaultDS. This causes an
exception in the new setup. I am new to JBoss, so I have no idea how to
configure it. If someone could point me to a doc or an earlier post about
this, I would appreciate. (I realize I need to modify jboss.conf and
jboss.jcml but don't know what to do exactly)
