Thanks, I use the thin driver from oracle - downloaded from last week - and jboss 2.0 final. I download the last csv rigth now... and i uncomment the line jboss.xa.xidclass property. One exception was the deadlock with entity beans. So the solution seems to define them reentrant=true. Another question. Are there poeple that use Oracle and CMP entity beans? If yes, how do they do? What is the error? I think that some Oracle 8.1.7 XA driver problems go away, if you: - Use a recent CVS snapshot (last 5 days). This reinstates a TM optimization that crashed the 8.1.6 client XA driver. 8.1.7 may actually depend on that optimization, since it is mandated by JTA. I suspect that this may show up as too much isolation between different connections participating in the same transaction. - Do *not* uncomment the jboss.xa.xidclass property in jboss.properties. This is needed for 8.1.6 *only*, and the TM optimization above is not done if this is uncommented.
