Thanks,

I use the thin driver from oracle - downloaded from last week - and jboss
2.0 final.

I download the last csv rigth now... and i uncomment the line
jboss.xa.xidclass property.

One exception was the deadlock with entity beans. So the solution seems to
define them reentrant=true.

Another question. Are there poeple that use Oracle and CMP entity beans? If
yes, how do they do?

Regards,

JMi

Which 8.1.7 driver, and which version of JBoss?
What is the error?

I think that some Oracle 8.1.7 XA driver problems go
away, if you:
- Use a recent CVS snapshot (last 5 days). This
reinstates a TM optimization that crashed the
8.1.6 client XA driver. 8.1.7 may actually depend
on that optimization, since it is mandated by JTA.
I suspect that this may show up as too much
   isolation between different connections
   participating in the same transaction.
- Do *not* uncomment the jboss.xa.xidclass property
in jboss.properties. This is needed for 8.1.6
*only*, and the TM optimization above is not done
   if this is uncommented.

Best Regards,

Ole Husgaard.
