As server.xml is not (currently) parsed, the examples war (or directory) is
not deployed...
only the ROOT directory is deployed by default...
You can either deploy WAR/EAR files in the jboss/deploy directory, or you
(should) be able to un war the examples War, and then move this directory
into the ROOT directory, then the examples (should) work...
