Hi,
The jboss.xml file is used for defining the jndi name of your beans - which
is more straight EJB and not related to CMP (I think...).
Thus the file you need to worry about is jaws.xml.
How far do you get - does jboss startup and give a message that the Oracle
datasource you've entered has been registered?
Or is the error further down?
I create my jboss.xml and jaws.xml files by hand - and they look similar to
those on the CMP/Oracle how to.
Have you turned on Debug in jboss.conf - in the Logging option - add
",Debug" to the end - and that should get all the SQL printed out.
HTH
Chris

Subject: [jBoss-User] ORACLE - CMP Problems
Hello ,
I am a new user to JBoss 2.0. I am trying to deploy on CMP bean.
I could do it with the Hypersonic SQL database. Since it uses
standardJBoss.xml
and standardJAWS.xml it worked fine. When i try to create those files
with EJX editor,
i am no where finding the GUI for entering table name,CMP field names and
Finder methods.
Can some body explain me how to create jboss.xml and jaws.xml (either
using EJX editor or any other way if possible).
I tried with the sample jboss.xml and jaws.xml given in the site( in HOW
CMP with ORACLE link). but no use.
Thanks in Advance
Rama Rao
