I see a different problem with LOCKING-WAITING. It is normal for this to occur
when two clients attempt to access the same entity, and on NT and Linux the
transactions play nice and wait for each other to finish, then do their stuff.
However, on Tru64 with Compaq JVM 1.3.0, the thread which is waiting for the
lock chews the processor so bad that the other transaction takes ages to finish
with the bean, and eventually they both time out. Could someone who knows the
source code give me some pointers on how to slow down the lock checking? I
think it's in EntityInstanceInterceptor, but not sure.

Thanks
Tom
