Are you running on Windoze (95 or 98)? If so, this is a recognised JDK bug.

There have been some reports of mirco$osft's VM not having this problem, so you
might like to try that.
I don't think it has any real implications, except for that multiple re-deploys
will fill you disk up eventually.
