Hi,
I am happy to announce that there now exists a J2EE Connector resource
adapter for XmlBlaster that works fine in JBoss.
* What is XmlBlaster?
XmlBlaster is a verry competent open source and XML based MOM product.
It is written in java but support vast array of languages and
environments through its Corba, RMI, XmlRpc and Http interfaces.
Everything is XML in XMlBlaster, you may even do real time filtering
of the Xml.
* What is a 2EE Connector resource adapter?
It's an adapter to a resource outside of JBoss (or any J2EE runtime)
wich follows the api specifyed in the J2EE Connector specification.
Such an adapter is possible to use in the same way you use an JDBC
datasource. By specifying it in the deployment descriptors and by
looking it up with JNDI.No need to worry about pooling, thread and other
scarry stuff.
The XmlBlasterK2 adapter is part of the XmlBlaster project. Check out
the latest cvs to get it if you are interested.
(Build by sh build.sh k2, some JBoss specific doco are in
src/java/org/xmlBlaster/j2ee/k2/README.JBoss).
Happy messaging ;-)
