Re-read the JBoss+Tomcat docos on the site. It is now possible to have
server.xml parsed.
So, you're startup script would start JBoss (which would startup Tomcat),
then you'd start Apache.
I'm not sure what you mean by '... that caused Tomcat to get started before
Apache...'. You should have an include directive in Apache's httpd.conf
that reads in your mod_jk.conf from Tomcat. in mod_jk.conf, you need to
setup your contexts via MountJk statements.
