[jBoss-User] Is a JNDI lookup in process?

Hi,

I wonder if objects that are accessed via a JNDI object are serialized 
every time or is this all in process? If it's out of process, where else 
could I store a big fat in memory globally accessable object? Is MBeans an 
option there?
