Are you *sure* you're not catching the exception? I see from your output
that you haven't printed "Exception caught!", so it sure looks like you
haven't caught it, which is strange. I don't know what would cause this.

Well, you're relying on org.jboss classes and you're relying on having
a JMX server around. These things aren't in the spec so other app servers
aren't guaranteed to have them.
So, I really have no idea why you're unable to catch that exception.
