I faced a similar problem about a week ago. However it is quite easy to get
SpyderMQ up and running. Simply download the latest version from the
zip_archives repository
http://www.jboss.org/zip_archives/. Extract and build it. It produces a
distribution directory, run the JMS server from the bin directory. You will
also find a examples direction in the distribution with a README file a
run.bat to set up the run time environment and ensure you have all the right
jar files. Once you have them running your half way there. After that it is
a matter of reading the JMS spec or else a book that I got recently Java
Message Service from O'Reilly is quite good with lots of examples including
the new message entity bean.
Also JMS has it own mailing list and maybe you will find more information
there.
Eoin.
