I just mean you're not doing kill -9 or something.  If you're running in JBoss 
AS and you deployed the cache as a service, the normal AS shutdown should do it 
for you.  If you started the cache programatically, you want to call 
cache.stopService() and cache.destroyService() as part of your shutdown process.
