I updated the jira with some basic information on this. As stated weblogic 9.2 does not support servlet 2.5 is only supports up to 2.4.
<web-app version="2.4"> might solve your issue, although I am currently working with weblogic 10.0 so I can not test that right now. If it works please post back.
