Fengzhi, I'd suggest you try and experiment a little with jBPM. You'll see that it can invoke java classes at almost any moment that can do anything you want. The other way around, jbpm has a 'command' interface or just use the api. jBPM usage in seam and jboss esb (or even other esb's like mule) also have al lot of examples.
