peter, i never thought of using the apache for port 80, that can do the trick... right now i have iis working on port 80 but i dont need/use it so that's not a problem...
i would rather use the same ports though. will the use of the mod_jk "harm" me in anyway? is this something i should avoid? another question i have: is there a way to check every incoming web request (http) ? i want to check every request to see if the user is logged, if so send him to the requested path, if not send him to a logging page.. is this possible? thanks, nitzan.
