Can you first with a more recent version and see if the problem is still there?
JBM 1.4.0.SP3 or 1.4.1 with JBossRemoting 2.2.2.SP4 ? If problem re-occurs please post a simple test case or simple instructions on how to replicate and someone will take a look.
