When I tried the below, the dao object is null and I cannot call methods on it.
InitialContext ctx = new InitialContext();
VPInfoDAOLocal dao = (VPInfoDAOLocal)
ctx.lookup("VPInfoDB/VpInfoDAOBean/local");
