Two possibilities. #1: Copy the ear file to that machine and then move it to the server/xxx/deploy directory. (The copy and move is important - if you just copy directly to the deploy directory, the copy might not be complete when the hot deployer runs which will cause JBossAS to attempt to deploy a partially copied file)
#2: Invoke the deploy method of the MainDeployer mbean. Here is an example of doing this using twiddle: twiddle invoke "jboss.system:service=MainDeployer" deploy PATH-TO-EAR where PATH-TO-EAR is a URL or file path that can be used on the server running JBossAS to access your EAR file. Method #1 is the preferred method. Method #2 has two issues: first, the EAR must be visible to the servers; second, when you restart JBossAS, you will have to manually redeploy the EAR again.
