I have your same problem and I'm using : OS - Windows 7 Java Version - 1.6.0 jBPM Version - 5 Error Message: jboss did not start within 5 minutes. I can't understand why..... I thought that probably there were another server on port 8080, so after the post of Kris I have navigate to http//localhost:8080/ and it said me that Google Chrome can't access http... Itryed with Mozilla and the result was the same. I controlled the path of JAVA_HOME and I think it's right ( C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.6.0_17\bin) , I controlled the path of ANT_HOME and it's ok..... I don't understand!!!!
