can't I just define:
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>Faces Servlet</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/faces/*</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
and reference
http://localhost:8080/myapp/faces/foo.jsp
I have it with /faces/* and I get this error
