"Connection to Transaction Recovery Manager lasting a long time" To view the discussion, visit: https://community.jboss.org/message/725640#725640 -------------------------------------------------------------- Is it normal that a connection to port 4713 lasts for an hour or more in a CLOSE_WAIT state? I am running JBoss5 in a Linux Centos server and inspect connections with netstat. Every once in while a connections shows up from JBoss to the port 4713 which I think is the JTS port for the Transaction Recovery Manager. I never detect datbase activity while this connection shows up so it is difficult to see what it is doing in anything.
