HIbernate.cfg.XML Settings were made to enable entity caching and query caching, but I find that after enabling the caching the transaction time is increased by several bounds. The same method with Caching took 306 secs and without Caching hitting the Database took only 13,500 millisecs. Please let me know if I am missing something here. This is not in a clustered environment and is only one server and one Cache.
