Im using jboss portal 2.2.1 SP3 on jboss 4.0.4GA server. In front I use a Apache 2.2.3 server. We are going to use a cache solution in front of the apache server - which is dependent on Cache-Control header information from the portal pages in order to know what to cache.
So therefore im trying to force the portal to set some header variables on the response object. Ive tried doing this via the portlet api with no luck, so it seems i have to use a tomcat valve in order to set the variables (but id like to find a better solution). Anyone know where this may be done?
