Dear All,
we have jboss 4 installed on our server. We are using persistent mySQL as queue
storage.
Recently we have noticed on a consistent load of 10-12 msg/sec the dequeue
process starts slowing down (we use OnMessage Event)

Initially the messages are de-queue at around 50msg/sec however as the time
passes, the speed slow to 1 messages per 10 second!

finally the dequeue process stop completely. The other thing we noticed that
the CPU usage of java process becomes more than 97% and keep on that for hours
before crashing down.

We are not doing many thing in OnMessage trigger. We have also noticed that the
issues was non-existence for over 1 year or so. The only recent change has been
related to load increased by 10-20% (which is now again decreased to -20%).

We are running jboss on fedora core 1, Celeron 2.4 Ghz processor and 1gb of
RAM. Java is running with 128min and 512MB max RAM. We have also noticed that
java process never uses more than 233MB of RAM.

Other than jboss we have MySQL 4.1 installed on the same machine. MySQL never
take more than 5% of CPU with 33MB of RAM.
