Hi again, I've attached the seam src to my project and have debugged through -- in fact the ExceptionHandler is only running once (it's just that it was calling my exception.getMessage() twice, which confused me).
However, the FacesMessage does appear twice. Where else could it be getting added? thanks, Daniel.
