I tested both demos with 1.4.1.BETA and they're both working fine. I didn't test 1.4.1.SP1 so I can't tell if the issue there. In anycase, you should be testing 1.4.1.BETA. Also, make sure that your prompt is at JBossCache.1.4.1.BETA directory when invoking sh build.sh run.demo Let us know how it's working for you.
