G'day all,

Can anyone direct me to ANY kind of documentation that mentions the interplay
between the EJB timer service and EJB role-based security? I've got an
extremely frustrating problem to do with the persistence of timers across
sessions: when I create them, JBoss seems to propagate security information
across to the timers, which can then call an @Timeout-annotated method in a
stateless session bean - however, when JBoss is restarted, the timers persist
(as expected), but whenever they time-out, they cause the log message:

"ERROR [TimerImpl] Error invoking ejbTimeout: javax.ejb.EJBAccessException:
Authentication failure"

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance,

James
